Roidmudes serve as the primary antagonist of the series and have different levels of evolution. After becoming sentient then having negative human emotions forced onto them they began the Global Freeze. Roidmudes: A race of 108 artificial monsters created to originally serve humans. The Global Freeze is the event in which the Roidmudes slowed down a quarter of the world, despite it's name saying global, and wrecked havoc on all humans in sight before being stopped by Proto-Drive. With the help of Shift Cars the Kamen Rider and friends are able to move around freely. Heavy Acceleration and the Global Freeze: Heavy Acceleration or Slowdown is a phenomenon caused by Roidmudes that seemingly slows down time within a short distance. Go Shijima: Go is hotheaded and lives by his emotions first, living with the knowledge that his father created Roidmudes he has an extreme hatred for them that sometimes gets in the way of his ability to reason.
